Marcio C. Cabrera, Managing Director
Marcio C. Cabrera has been working in the healthcare industry for over 13 years. Throughout his career, Mr. Cabrera has held leadership roles with various healthcare organizations specializing in the development and implementation of strategic plans which create value. Prior to MBF Healthcare Partners, L.P., Mr. Cabrera was Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President and Secretary of Ramsay Health Care, Inc. (NASDAQ: RHCI), a psychiatric hospital company headquartered in Coral Gables, Florida. During his tenure at Ramsay, Mr. Cabrera was a key member of the management team that developed and executed a strategy which led to the turnaround of the Company and the eventual sale to Psychiatric Solutions, Inc. (NASDAQ: PSYS). From 1992 to 1997, Mr. Cabrera held various key management positions at Ramsay-HMO, Inc. (and at United Healthcare of Florida, Inc. subsequent to the sale of Ramsay-HMO, Inc. in 1994) in the areas of finance, operations and health plan administration. His various positions included Executive Vice President and Vice President of Finance. During his tenure at the company, Mr. Cabrera was a key member of the management team that developed and implemented a strategy which led to the successful statewide expansion of the company. From 1985 to 1991, Mr. Cabrera held various positions at Deloitte & Touche including lead manager for the firm's largest client in the Southeastern United States. Mr. Cabrera holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Miami.
